As a key player in the manufacturing industry, we also strive to be a valuable asset to our community by offering education, inspiration, and opportunity to the area youth. As evidence, our walls are covered with dozens of plaques of youth sports teams which Knox Manufacturing Solutions has sponsored over the years.
Knox Manufacturing Solutions sponsors several area high school BattleBot teams, where students design, build, and program their own radio-controlled “bots”, exposing students to the many rewarding career paths available in the manufacturing industries. As an emcee at “Bots” events, Greg himself can be heard yelling “Are you ready to rumble?” when he is not educating parents in the crowd about the importance of manufacturing careers.
Knox Manufacturing Solutions is involved with most of the schools in the area, including Butler Tech, Colerain, Sinclair, Festo helping them develop curriculum for students interested in a manufacturing career.
Knox Manufacturing Solutions HQ is a collection facility for used mobile phones, which are sent to ReCellular, which in turn pays Cell Phones for Soldiers for each donated phone, providing an hour of talk time to soldiers abroad.
